Principal and Lead Strategist
Alicia is the Principal and Lead Strategist at Acclivity Strategies, where she provides services in government relations, policy strategy, grants management, project management, strategic planning, board development, thought partnership and strategic facilitation.

She has more than 20 years of experience leading policy campaigns, managing public and philanthropic grant portfolios, and advising institutions on the design and execution of complex initiatives. Through targeted services and training, Alicia has collaborated with clients to strengthen infrastructure, align strategy with policy goals, and accelerate measurable impact to build power, influence policy, and drive sustainable change. Prior to founding Acclivity Strategies, Alicia practiced law with a regional firm where she represented corporate clients in labor and employment, privacy and cybersecurity, consumer protection, and Section 1983 matters.

Before practicing law, Alicia served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carlton W. Reeves, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Before becoming a lawyer, Alicia worked in the public and non-profit sectors where she obtained a wide range of policy advocacy and community organizing experience. Alicia obtained her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. She obtained her Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
